Stage-Based Approach

Key to the learning process is a Stage Based Approach. In a Stage Based Approach, there are four stages. In the Exploration stage, diverse teams use data to determine need, and they select and define the innovation. In the Installation stage, diverse teams develop training, coaching, and data systems for the innovation. In the Initial Implementation stage, diverse teams support educators to use the innovation and support use of data for continuous improvement. In the Full Implementation stage, diverse teams support and expand educator use of the innovation and use of data for continuous improvement, and improved outcomes are achieved. Data use for continuous improvement occurs across all of the stages, and sometimes a decision may be made to return to a previous stage, based upon the data available.
